Club Fish France was founded in 2002 by Arkadi de Rakoff, an experienced, well traveled fly angler and a regular photo journalist, contributing to UK fly fishing magazines. In a former life as a film producer, Arkadi gathered a wealth of experience in creating complex field trips on a global basis. It’s this expertise – along with with his passion for fly fishing travel – that is a key component of the company’s organisational success.
The company was originated to cater for a much neglected corner of the UK market – accessible and affordable holidays for the ‘family fisherman’ in France. But it soon became evident that European fly fishing holidays in general were grossly under represented in the global market – encouragement enough to extend the company’s original brief.
In response, Club Fish France has now formed a unique network of personal associations with top European guides, riparian owners and local fishing associations. And in recognition of its innovative and highly regarded professional approach – the company has been invited to form a number of exclusive partnerships with official regional tourist boards in both France and the UK.

Club Fish France is not a member of recognized Travel Agent Associations, but carries cover under its Public Liability and Employees insurance scheme. In addition, it offers we can arrange medical, personal effects and cancellation insurance (which we strongly recommended) - at a highly competitive market price (UK citizens only).
