Fishing is offered at a wonderful lake and river complex in the heart of the Champagne region 2 hours drive from Paris. It has thirty acres of enclosed mature parkland and ten acres of four diverse lakes plus 3.5 kms of trout river banks. The wonderfully impressive clubhouse was formerly a 19th century furniture factory that gave employment to the local village.
Club house amenities are first class with an excellent kitchen serving lunches in the dinning room. There’s a spacious club bar, tackle shop and large outside dinning terrace.
The fishing
This private Domaine is bordered by dense natural woodland and benefits greatly from the forest’s rich insect diversity and run offs that are harnessed to the catchment’s cyclical system.
The spring fed waters of river and lakes are crystal clear and of a cooling constant temperature throughout the year. Feeder streams, inlets and outflows enervate the lakes and the fish to action.
Purity of water is guaranteed by thirty kilometers of unbroken forest protecting the waters from the hazards of chemical farming - algae blooms are seldom (if ever) a problem.
This is a true stalking lake of equal stature to our own gin clear UK southern still waters.
The stock is mainly reared on site. And such is the natural hospitality of the water that grown on Browns, Brookies and even Cutthroat Rainbows have spawned successfully in the feeder streams, donating progeny back to the main catchments. In addition, there’s Cristivomer, Saumon de Fontaine, Triploids and incredibly - Atlantic Salmon (supplied by the Rhine basin’s salmon regeneration scheme).

The Domaine is an ideal option for short fishing breaks. We offer various accommodation to suit your needs. A 2 star family run hotel or 3 star Manor hotel and self catering gite for a longer stay. You tell us your requirements – we’ll tailor to suit.
Basic Package
Accommodation in 2 star local hotel 5 mins drive from the Domaine.
Includes:
• 2 days fishing on the river and lakes and delicious menu of the day in the lodge (inc. wine)

1 night accommodation including breakfast and evening meal in the hotel restaurant.
Basic package price: £295.00 per angler (£72.00 supplement for non-angler sharing, including meals as above).
