Normandy is rich in history and architectural beauty and offers many attractions for the tourist. Monet's glorious gardens at Giverny, the Tapestries at Bayeux, Rouen's historic Cathedrals, and the long white-sand Beaches of the Normandy Coastline are just some of the treasures on offer.
The coastal towns of Trouville, Deauville and Honfleur offers wonderful Markets, Galleries and Fresh Sea Food Restaurants amidst bustling Harbour life. Sporting activities on the coast include Sailing, Sand Yachting, and Sea Fishing.
There are also championship golf courses available, and for the Equestrian minded, the beautiful Race Course at Deauville offers a calendar of world class meetings.
The fishing
Normandy offers some superb fishing - both river and lake - and we're pleased to include what we consider to be the best.
The Rilse
No trip to Normandy is complete without a few days on the Risle: queen of the region’s ‘Fly Only’ chalk streams. the Risle is considered to be amongst the finest traditional brown trout rivers in France.
We offer fishing on the Risle’s finest stretch at ‘Parcour Malasis’: 3 kms of double bank river and feeder streams, set in a privately owned and managed family estate. This is a totally natural river – all trout are ‘wild’ and fighting fit.
The Touques
And for sea trout, the Touques has the most prolific stretches in France. Most of the river is any technique, but we can offer 3 kms of ‘fly only’ association water in the lower beautiful Touques valley.
Additional ‘category one’ trout and Grayling rivers include the Iton, Rouloir and L’Andelle.
The Lakes
We also offer 3 fly only stocked trout lakes: fish for Rainbows, Browns, Blues, Brookies and Tiger Trout in these wonderful private Normandy estates.
Our accommodation
The Coachhouse - St Aubin de Bonneval - 3 hrs drive from Calais
This beautifully converted Coach House is situated in the hamlet of St Aubin de Bonneval.
It is spacious, conveniently arranged for family living ((0r Groups) and furnished to a high standard.
Exposed beams and wood floors lend warmth and charm to the cottage atmosphere.
The Coach House faces a beautifully restored, listed 13th Century Church which lies at the heart of this intimate and friendly community and offers a particularly safe and attractive environment for children. There is a secluded rear garden with outdoor dinning terrace and barbecue facilities.

Local tourism
St Aubin is situated at the crossroads of Calvados, the Orne and the Eure and offers easy access to all the regions tourists activities. The local market town of Orbec with its restaurants, bars and shopping facilities is within seven minutes drive. A further 10 minutes will bring you to the delightful river town of Bernay; famous for its Farmers' Market, Antique Shops and a wide selection of Bars and Restaurants. Normandy’s wonderful, white sandy beaches and delightful harbour towns of Trouville, Deauville and Honfleur are all within an easy 60 mins drive.
Fishing location
St Aubin is centrally placed to access the best of Normandy fishing. Fly only stretches of the Risle and the Touques are within 15-40 mins drive, as is the river and lake complex. The rouloiur and Iton can be reached in less than an hour.
